Lifetime and Limited Warranty

As an American-made company, we design and manufacture our parts with a commitment to long-lasting quality and integrity. Each custom part is crafted with care, ensuring it will be a durable addition to your bike, which we hope will stay on your bike for a lifetime. We proudly offer a Lifetime Warranty on many of our parts, alongside a Limited Warranty for select other items.

Below you'll find more details on what our warranty covers and excludes.

 

Exclusions

Our Lifetime and Limited Warranty is offered in good faith, but it excludes coverage for items used or abused outside the conditions for their intended use. Below are some examples (but not all) of situations that may void warranty coverage:

  • Misuse or improper installation
  • Collision or excessive impact
  • Use beyond intended conditions
  • Neglect or improper care
  • Modifications beyond intended specifications

 

Who Is Covered

The warranty applies to the original purchaser. At our discretion, we may choose to repair or replace items depending on each unique circumstance.

We cover shipping costs both ways for eligible warranty claims for parts less than 12 months old. For items older than 12 months, we ask that the customer covers the return to us and then we cover the return back to you.

Customized parts (e.g., modifications, paint) may not be eligible for compensation for those specific modifications under the Lifetime Warranty and Limited Warranty.

We are proud to offer one of the best warranties in our industry. Below is an overview of our Lifetime and Limited Warranties across various product categories.

  • Performance Composite and Fiberglass Parts
    Includes items such as fenders, saddlebags, speaker lids, gas tanks, tour packs, and dash panels. These come with a Lifetime Warranty covering performance, materials, and workmanship against manufacturing defects.
  • Billet Parts
    Includes items such as floorboards, foot controls, taillights, and turn signal housings. These include a Lifetime Warranty on material and workmanship for our machined billet parts. Coatings have a 12-month warranty, and LEDs have a 24-month warranty.
  • Paint
    Includes items that are painted by us. Our Lifetime Warranty covers issues such as rust, flaking, and adhesion failures. Excludes normal wear-and-tear, improper cleaning, impacts, collision damage, or abnormal use.
  • Coatings
    Includes chrome, powdercoat, and anodized finishes. These finishes include a 12-month warranty. Wear from contact (e.g., footrest areas) is excluded. After 12 months, replacements are available at a reduced price.
  • LEDs
    Includes LEDs such as the ones used in our taillights, speaker lids, tour packs, and fairings. These LEDs have a 24-month warranty. After this period, replacements are available at a reduced price.
  • Exhaust
    Includes our Exhaust Systems and Slip-On Mufflers. These parts have a 24-month warranty on structural integrity, with baffles covered for 18 months. Coatings have a 12-month warranty. Discoloration, which is commonly a symptom of poor air/fuel ratio tuning, is excluded.
  • Non-Bad Dad Parts
    Some of our kits include third-party components. These items carry their respective manufacturer's warranties, and we are happy to assist in warranty claims with those manufacturers if needed.
